2025 Gold Maple Leaf Design

King Charles III graces the obverse of 2025 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coins. This portrait of His Majesty was created in 2024 for the Royal Canadian Mint by Steven Rosati. The 2025 release marks just the second time that Charles III has been featured on the Canadian Maple Leaf. This left-profile effigy shows the king without a crown on his head.

A sugar maple leaf is found in the reverse design of the 2025 Canadian Gold Maple Leaf. Created in 1979 by Walter Ott, this iconic image of the sugar maple has been on the reverse of all gold coins since 1979 and also features on silver, platinum, and palladium variants of the coin.

These 2025 1 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coins are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, with coins sold individually and in bulk. Individual coins come in plastic flips, while multiples are available in tubes of 10 coins or Monster Boxes of 500 coins.

Introduced in 1979, the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf was only the second gold bullion coin available to private investors when it debuted. The South African Krugerrand is the only coin that has been available longer. The Gold Maple Leaf was the first .999 pure gold coin and, in 1982, became the first major .9999 pure gold coin as well.
